project of Drevenice pod Salatínom dates to 1996 when their authors living abroad had an idea to revive the tradition of

Slovak Folk architecture and the return to the memories of culture and the life of our ancestors. The winning variant was the

one which planned to create a peculiar village from 19th and 20th century consisted from 25 colorful wooden houses together

with the services fulfilling also the demands of the most exacting clients. The original project creates a closed zone.
